Your research – interviewing dog owners
Using the attached form (CIDBT1) interview ten dog owners at a local veterinary clinic(s) completing the questions on the form. (Find enclosed a letter of introduction to accompany you to the clinic). Collate your information using your own chart and answer the following questions:
- According to your research, what is the most common behavioural problem?
- In your view, why is this?
- Explain in no more than 400 words, how this problem can be prevented
- Explain in no more than 400 words, how this problem can now be altered or removed.
- When interviewing these owners, was there a common trend in their attitudes or did their views vary? No more than 400 words.
- Please write a brief conclusion of this phase including anything that you found surprising or any results that were expected and list the conclusions that you came to.
Submitting your work
- Remember when returning your work to the tutor, to include your name, module number, date and appropriate heading information for each question.
- Return all of your work once completed via e-mail. Upon receipt of this, your work will be marked as soon as possible and returned to you with the relevant comments and a pass or fail mark. If you pass each section of work, you will be sent your multiple choice examination to complete. Once this has been satisfactorily concluded, Phase two will be despatched.
